The Art Bank Team Wins Bronze!
The Art Bank team placed third in the Women's Petite Final (B Division) with a time of 2:18:94 at the Ottawa Dragon Boat Race Festival. The team also raised an astounding $6,696 for Ottawa charities.
This marks the tenth year that the Art Bank has sponsored a team and the fourth time it has placed in the Women's Petite Final (B Division).
The Ottawa Dragon Boat Race Festival is the largest one of its kind in North America - attracting over 5500 paddlers and close to 65 000 spectators. All of the proceeds for the Festival go to 8 local charities, including the Ottawa Senators' Foundations / Rogers House, Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health, OCRI School Breakfast Program, Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario, and the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Program.
